Executive Certificate Programs
These short programs are designed to help participants build fundamentals in areas such as climate change, clean energy procurement, infrastructure preparedness, leadership and management. The curriculum in these programs will be regionally tailored for Maryland and the mid-Atlantic United States, but is also oriented toward specific target audiences. Each certificate program will be developed for a specific group of participants.
Recognition by the State of Maryland and ACCO
All certificate programs offered through the Maryland Climate Leadership Academy will be administered and recognized jointly by the State of Maryland and the Association of Climate Change Officers. Completion of a certificate signifies that a participant has completed required training, thus developing a fundamental understanding of the disciplinary focus of the program.

CERTIFICATE IN CLIMATE LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP
This 2-day workshop will focus upon elected/appointed officials, senior executives and community leaders to participate in a program aimed and building their understanding of climate-related implications and strategies for leading their organizational initiatives. The course will leverage abridged versions of climate literacy modules and focus intently on specialized leadership and entrepreneurship training.

CERTIFICATE IN CLEAN ENERGY PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
This program will engage professionals in select roles such as energy and facilities management, procurement, legal and finance in training aimed at building their capacity to drive efforts to scale up clean energy consumption and development.
